My Dream

我的理想

Yesterday, we had a discussion. The topic is: What is my dream? Every one has his dream. Some want to be teachers, others want to be scientist. My dream is to become a doctor.

My friends asked me why. I told them my story. When I was a small boy I was very weak. Once I was terribly ill. I had a high fever. My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me. Then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town. They took me there. I was saved.

A good doctor can save people’s lives. From then on I decided to become a doctor. I know it is not easy to be a doctor. But I am determined to study hard. I am sure my dream will come true.

I get up at six every day. I dress myself quickly and have breakfast at half past six. After breakfast I go to school.

After supper I read newspapers or watch TV for half an hour. I prepare my lessons between half past seven and nine. I go to bed at nine.

How I Spend Teachers’ Day

Some of us stood at the school gate to say hello to every teacher when they entered the school. In the afternoon, we held a party. We sang and danced with the teachers. The students in Group Two were busy collecting litter left by the tourist. They also cleaned the benches in the park. I was in Group Three. We went to the children’s playground and cleaned all the equipment there. We worked very hard.

At about eleven we finished working. We met at the gate of the park. We all felt tired but very happy.
